Greetings all ye music lovers.

Hanging my sack out there again for you all to kick, but if there is any group I want to share with it's this one.

I have started a new band here in Nashville with some members of other bands and we have christened ourselves The Electric Servants of Righteousness.

Take a listen to our initial intro recordings here and let me know what you think if you are so inclined.

go here: http://www.uvamala.com/esor/

Song number 1 is "Who's In The Kitchen (Cookin')" is in a non edited form and iy goes on far too long. We just kept rocking out to the tune of about 9 minutes, but you only have to listen to about 4 at the most.

All of the songs are unmixed but we're just trying to get any kind of response or whatever to see what people think.

Let us know.

Peace and Love,
Deacon Blue

My first impressions are never definitive, but I listened to your songs and I think it sounds like you've got something worth working on. I like the groove on the first song the best......it reminds me of something I've heard before. Take that how you will, some people think it's the ultimate compliment while others feel that to be a supreme insult. All the tunes would definitely benefit from some tweaking, but you already know that. As my input slides into irrelevance, I re-submit the first sentence of this spiel as the way I want you to think of it.

Nothing is ever something.

I know exactly what you mean, Crispy. Thanks for sharing your insight and taking the time to listen. I like the fact that it sounds like something you've heard before. I try to do that on purpose sometimes as it gives people a frame of reference in this "get it now or forget it" world we live in. Of which I am as guilty as anyone else.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Now there is the same number of people who read the "Why are people afraid of Dried Blood Post" as there are this one.

It's great to feel wanted.

You just gotta have a catchy title!
Not anything important to say
So cool it with your psychobabble
And go do something else today

Cuz you gotta have a catchy title!
if you want the people to post
But hey, just watch your self-promotion
Cuz no one likes a poster who boasts

(When I read your post I just though it sounded like a big broadway song, like the kind that would have people in tuxes and top hats and canes. doing the high kick like the opening to "Family Guy" you know...all the things that make us F'in cry!)

Oh big boo fucking hoo. Boo hoo hoo.

You're a sensitive man. How impressive.

Here's another suggestion. Get a fucking high school degree. Than go to college or a trade school. Further your education. Stop living with mommy and daddy and then, you won't have to complain about working in a cd store and being bored.

Till then, yeah, it's a cold harsh fucking world.

Well, I don't go check out everyones profile. I didn' know the name was Alicia. Nor did I care, frankly.

So fine she's allowed to be sensitive.

Right, cuz aren't women sensitive and in touch with their feelings?

Apparently we're one of the top 3 reasons that this world is a better place to live too.

Isn't that right Mike?

No kidding.

I know for the most part, they are more magnificent creations than guys are.

They can give birth and I am sure if there weren't guys around, they could find a way to asexually reproduce, they are just that awesome.

Well, i read in the news that guys are literally dying out. We're coming up with way more genetic defects, etc, and some day there may very well only be women.

Um..

Women have the power to make men (or at least me) cry with the right touch of cleavage. What is it about breasts that are so powerful to me? I don't understand, just seeing cleavage on a good looking girl drives me crazy. What the hell is it about breasts, seriously?

Speaking of breasts, thanks to the wonderful www.boingboing.net i found out about the "Second Annual Blogger Boobie-Thon for Breast Cancer Photos":

www.tampatantrum.com/boobiethon/photos.html" target="_blank">http://www.tampatantrum.com/boobiethon/photos.html (may take a minute)

Am i the only one that thinks this could be someone's ass?

www.tampatantrum.com/boobiethon/archives/boobies31.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.tampatantrum.com/boobiethon/archives/boobies31.jpg

I think i'll only date taller women now..bleh..

(Note, these should prolly be noted NSFW (not safe for work))

Would there be humor in a domain name like 'tampontantrum'? That's what my brain sees when i see that domain.

Gee it's late.

me and all my friends thought it was F'n cry too but one day it just hit me that it was "laugh." Also for the longest time none of us had any clue who the family guy was. It sounded like "So and So's a Family Guy," it wasn't until I got the DVD and used the closed caption that I learned it was "Lucky there's a family guy."
