Hi. I'm new to the board and wondered whether any Frank hardcores could help me with a problem...
After searching 'All my ghosts' single on amazon.com (the cd featuring the dylan cover) it seems that someone wanted $600 for it.
Is this cd really that valuble? and if so how much would you guys value it at?
I'd really like to know because the price quoted seemed incredible.
Finally... If the cd is so rare, is it a certain version of something (you know when one is worth £1m, but a later re-release with a different number is worth £5.)
Anyway, for anyone who can help ... Thanks. |

Heh, no, this same thing was brought up (he used to have it listed at $1200) previously. Not sure who he is, but it's not worth that much, just a regular single, maybe $20-30 CDN tops.

The guy selling it for $600 is clearly insane and needs medical attention.
The single isn't that rare. It shows up on ebay from time to time and probably sells for no more than $10 or $12.
Before Frank got scared away by the board, he mentioned the possibility of another b-sides album in his future. But if you really want the single and it's not on ebay (and you don't want to wait for it to show up), try the dealers at http://www.gemm.com |

Yeah, I went throught the same thing at amazon, one guy selling it for 600, another guy for 1200. Obviously jokes, as I managed to pick up a copy online from gemm.com (even happened to be signed, for 4 US dollars plus shipping, and also saw quite a few rarities on musicstack.com.

I guess the sellers figure that they've got it made if anyone rich and stupid enough actually buys the EP for that ridiculous price. I wonder if it ever actually happens.

Um, VoVat? This is really weird....I was doing a search on Ozymandias about 2 weeks ago, for some research, and ran across your site and bookmarked it even! It made me realize that I really should read that again, as well as the sequels (which I've never read). I thought your map of Oz was quite compelling.
This truly is a small small world.

Did I happen to mention that I just now checked your profile, because of your intriguing name, and only found out at that point that that was your site? I'm rambling....incoherent?

As others have mentioned, it can't be that rare at all. I bought a used copy at my local record store along with a copy of Cult of Ray. I was really happy that day too.
