bad web comics are one thing, bad animated web comics with horrible voice overs are even worse. the onion is the only funny thing on the internet.

Haha, yeah. People with half a potty-sense of humor and some skills in flash (and an internet connection) think they're hot shit. Nay, my friends, nay. Penny Arcade is hilarious if you're a gaming geek...otherwise it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I'm with Dave. Anyone who can appreciate a show like The Simpsons, where a lot of jokes are about the characters' character, and about previous gags, should be able to appreciate it, or at least the fact that you have to get into it enough to get a lot of the jokes.

We can help you with your website here in the cult...
Dave and I can reenact various emails if you want. I'll be Strongbad and he can be Homestar "eeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeee" Runner. I'll cast Carolyn as Marzipan, The Swimmer can be Strongmad, and El Barto can be the King of Town. Maybe Jessie can be The Cheat. I think we could get astrology to be a mean Coach Z. Derek can do the set design/animation. Peter Radiator can write the scripts.
I guess for the rest I'll have to put out a casting call for the rest... Bubs? The Crap dude? Others? Mere might be a good Bubs because of her alleged cooking prowess. And I don't think me recommending someone as the crap dude would be a good idea. :)

Anyone ever go to Newgrounds.com? They have some damn funny, although not very visually stunning, cartoons done in flash. (Some of the cartoons are quite well-done tho.)

Dean as Strongbad? That's like the Seinfeld where George does the little mock up of the board room where his breifcase was damaged, and he "casts" the little superhero as himself. Jerry points out it would probably makes more sense for him to be the peanut M & M. I should be Strongbad damn it. Double Dueces!!!!!!

I would make a good poopsmith only because I have to deal with remorseless crap from Mike on a daily basis. Turned that little nugget around on you, didn't I. At least until I referred to it as a little nugget.
