Just thought he should be in the list on the front page with the other permanent Catholic members.
Also, seems to be a lot of useful info at these sites that would be good for a link, or even better, get the authors permission to post here:

Hey, not to worry D3, I've already bugged Dave (Noisy) about this! I'm confident that when all is said and done, Dave Philips will be listed on the front as a catholic. But thanks for noticing, now I don't look like such a solitary Dave P fan!! Really, I think there are some that are getting worried... I'm probably about two steps from a restraining order!! (Just kiddin') Lucky for Dave P I live all the way on the East Coast...

(It's not a political thing, i put together the content of the site really quickly so there's bound to be dozens of obvious errors like this..better than blank pages i s'pose!)

Hey, yeah, an updated title would be cool. Whatever you think would be most fitting, except "Dave Philips Lunatic" or anything like that. Hahaha... We don't want to scare him off, that is if he's not already. (too late)
Yes, I will be sending stuff, sorry for the delay. I'm responding here mostly due to the fact that my email seems to be down again (*!!@#%#$#%#), and I don't seem to be receiving any messages. Oh, and in Dave Noisy's defense, I should have mentioned how he is doing an awesome job and that the whole abscence of DP is totally understandable what with all the things he has to field every day with the site and this forum!! count me in as a Dave Phillips fan.. i've come to really dig the recent lineup.. with Dave P. playing all the lead stuff.. but hey.. i'm sure people have already the Dave P. vs. Rich G. argument sometime..
i'm curious how the lineup will change over time.. or if it will. because clearly Frank is very happy with what Dave P. is contributing. and shit, the guy's got a headlining credit on DEVIL'S WORKSHOP. i think he's there more than Rich on both the new ones.. if i'm not mistaken.

Oh, and Floop, great comments there. Yes, I do wonder about the line-up too. I find it interesting that Frank and Dave do so much together as a duo. Could the future be just the two of them? I would hate to see the catholics go, and no offense to any of them, really, but I just wonder sometimes. Frank and Dave put on an awesome show alone together, and Frank really seems to be into the solo/duo thing lately. One thing's for sure, I think we can all agree that Dave has become a pretty integral part of the band. I also got to see shows with him on lead, and he was awesome. I don't think he was as comfortable with the band yet last year. I was right up front, and could see how well they all worked together. It was amazing to see the catholics machine hard at work. Totally cool. You could just tell how much respect they have for each other.
Ok, I'll shut up now...

zanni, yeah.. i think dave got more and more comfortable with the band as the year went on.. i've seen such a ridiculous amount of shows this year, and i sort of feel like i've witnessed Dave's evolution in the band..
i don't think Frank would ever dump the Catholics.. but i'm pretty positive that i heard him say at the Amoeba Records in-store a few months back that he and Dave (P.) had been doing some recording the week prior. he didn't say, myself and the Catholics, but he and Dave.. so maybe that was implied.. or maybe some of the new songs are just he and Dave.. or a b-side or something..
the new material sounds great though.. i've heard at least 4 of the new songs and they're fucking great. not just saying that. especailly Nadine and Manitoba..
soon enough my friends..

Yes, I can't wait to hear the new stuff. The recordings with Dave P will have to remain a mystery for now I guess! I'm going to try and find out as much as I can at the upcoming shows.
Seems to me that Frank and Dave hang out a lot together. I wonder if he'll be with Frank at the two solo shows tonight and tomorrow?? Can't wait to read the reviews!!
