Has anybody ever heard of a foam party? I just got invited to one tonight. Not really my crowd, but the idea is weird enough that I might have to go. Apparently they're going to spray down this field with foam and everybody just kind of walks around in it doing whatever it is people do at a foam party. It sounds too stupid, can anyone tell me whether that's really all there is to it? If it helps to know, this is happening at a college-type institution after a football game, so maybe that would explain it.

There are foam parties here in different bars from time to time, but yours sounds different. |

Okay, I guess the most important question I have is probably whether a foam party is one of those event names that draws a crowd just looking to get laid. I can see how people have fun like that, but if that's all it's going to be I won't bother. They are all fresh back to school, I dunno.

i've never been to one, but they have them at clubs here and there. it's mostly a kind of raver-esque type crowd who goes to do the usual club thing .. dancing and drugs.. but with all that foam, it's a little easier to engage in certain activities than i might be without the foam. |

Ohhhhhh, that's the ticket! Haven't broken out my Sneaky Butcher outfit in public for awhile. Just heard it's sold out anyway, right after I decided not to go. Thanks for the input, all!

Foam party...so you basicly have this non-seethrough foam covering the lower half of your party. Sounds like the perfect place to walk around without pants, trying to find someone to hook up with right then and there, to go back to yours or her place and make your own foam, you know?

I think you end up with foam covering your ENTIRE body - have you seen footage of this? It seems very wet and sticky to me. I feel old, but would you bring a change of clothes?

Ramona, I read your post and sig, moved on, and then the meaning of your sig hit me and I had to come back and look at it again. I love that line. A world full of catepillars. That is EXACTLY how I feel about this place sometimes. |
