I always used to suspect something like this was possible, but always wrote it off to just my paranoia about a mass-right-wing-conspiracy. Shit, it really can and is happening.

Pardon my ignorance, but I read the article and based on your reactions it sounds pretty big, I'm just not quite sure I know exactly what it means. Computer terminology probably intimidates me but I doubt I'll admit it. So please, if one of you could explain it would be appreciated.

Basically it means that someone had the capability to hack in and manipulate election results. |

Okay, that's kinda what I thought. What I'm not certain about is whether this says that votes were changed or just cast by somebody on behalf of non-voters.

I'm not sure that either happened... without knowing any of the backstory, I think the alarm was just that someone had accessed and hacked in DURING the election meaning they COULD have changed it. But I could be wrong, it's not all that clear. Anyone? |
