| I didn't even get to see the rainbow icons, but I'm assuming that Dave did that to us since I was asking him for a different colour star from Jim's and Derek decided to make a little rainbow icon. |

It is all Dave's doing. Ok, I DID make them but I had no intent on them being used. It is amusing though. Wait... does this mean when I get 1000 posts I'll get red stars too? (assuming the rainbow colors will be gone by then). Man, this will get really confusing if that's the case. People will be asking me about the Pixies tribute album, and also why the song database isn't up yet.

Don't worry about reaching 1000, Derek, it'll never happen <insert mental image of someone evil with sly grin tenting fingers and eery chord playing in background>. You'll have your regular yellow stars when you're 1000. |

They first appeared as little colored boxes, then colored stars.

Nah, Dave knows. He's getting me back for asking him for a different colour star from Jim's. Seems unlikely that someone would hack in, grab the little rainbow icon you sent to him, change it into stars, and then replace the moderator star-code.
It is possible that the server gay-dar has gone off (I can only assume Jim set it off since it certainly wasn't me) and this is the result. But then, if the server is that smart, how do you suppose that it allows Dave to be in charge in the first place. :) |

They're actually pretty distracting.
The heavy bass loop should be replaced by some rave music with those stupid whistles they always use. |

They're indubitably hypnotizing. They seem to be taunting me...mocking me in their smug, obnoxious little manner...yet, somehow soothing, while at the same time...ridiculing...demeaning!!! MUST...KILL...STARS...must...stop...dancing...once and...for...all..!

Go to Strongbad Emails. The one you're looking for is called Techno. I also recommend Japanese Cartoon, Trogdor, and of course all the rest. Marzipan's answering machine has moments, too, but you should know a bit more about the characters before listening in, I think.

The Teen Girl Squad shorts took a second viewing to appreciate, but they are hilarious. And yes, many of the movies are great, too. An awesome website. I love the interview with Homestar.
