I'm looking to expand my "portfolio" of bands and music (once again)
Just wondering since Frank is at the top of my list, what 5 bands are at the top of all of his other fans' lists. What are your TOP 5?
the blues isn't an art-form, it's a product-- not unlike computer chips and tampons.

and his music hardly qualifies as a band but I really like Chopin
and Leadbelly is another fine musician that I've listened too
here's some other bands that will surely expand your musical horizons:
Raincoats, Leonard Cohen (he's written some novels too, buy them as well), Beach Boys are great, the Chantays are really good, Woody Guthrie has some good stuff; his house of the rising sun puts the animals' version to shame. The Germs is good if you're in a punk kinda mood; Lexicon Devil is rocking and Forming is rocking too. Is that five yet?
