i just wanted to mention a new show i'm diggin' these days called "Whatever Happened To Robot Jones" on Cartoon Network. It's got classic sloppy 70s style looking animation (think School House Rocks), but the main character is a robot with a computer voice (think "Fitter, Happier" from OK Computer). Very neat. And pretty funny, in a safe-for-kiddies sort of way. And the soundtrack varries between indie rock and old school video game sounding music. So if that sounds cool to you, check your local listings. I think it's usually on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. |

I think it's part of Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. It does look interesting, but I haven't seen it yet. How about "Adult Swim"? Home Movies is a *GREAT* cartoon...I love it, it's hilarious. I wish I'd remember to watch it more often! 10PM EST Sunday nights. |

oh yeah, Adult Swim is the shit! (i guess i'm about to find out if this board censors naughty words.) Aqua Teens! Home Movies! Mission Hill is a good show that I bet any Frank Black fan would really get into. I hated the Oblongs at first, but it's grown on me. Of course you gotta love Space Ghost. Harvey Birdman's a good show, as is Brak. I even like the classic b&w Popeye cartoons that are somewhat considered part of Adult Swim. And SeaLab 2021 is great too, gotta love the theme song by Calamine. pick up the Calamine CD at cdbaby.com, very cool stuff. |
