stop making me laugh so much! I think you meant you know which town I live in. A Hilte gun is an explosive powered glorified nail gun meant to shoot through concrete or angle iron.
We come from a long line of Bricklayers. |

That sounds like it could hurt a little... especially in the eyeball. Or the shin. It's only a matter of time before that monstrosity shows itself into first person shooters... which, of course, you're probably too mature (said mockingly) to play. |

Why must you edit every post before I can read it?
As for uses for the Hilte gun, I'd keep it at the office mounted in the corner of the room and pointed at the inbox, with a little string menacingly (but harmlessly) tied from the trigger and leading to the bottom of the pile of papers currently in the inbox. Sprinkle some fake blood near the inbox on the desk and you won't have ANYONE putting stuff in there again.
Or wait for the next round of house rennovations, whichever. |

Me? Correcting your grammar (note the spelling)? Never. You must be confusing me with Mike, or failing that, your third grade teacher that you had a ridiculously uncontrollable crush on.
If you can't use it for renno's, the first idea (straight from Martha Stewart) will do just fine. |

It's a type of game where you play in first-person (as in, you see through the character's eyes). And, as the shooter implies, it usually involves guns and blowing stuff up, often aliens, sometimes nazis, and once in awhile terrorists. As well as finding keys placed in strange locations to get to doors which are super-locked for some reason. |

*sniff sniff* I smell FPS chat. Uh, nail gun? Can you say Quake, circa 1996? Old school, yo. The nail gun was a lot of fun.

Yeah, that was mostly sarcasm/a test of Carolynanna's FPS knowledge (which she failed miserably. Though I didn't really care for Quake to be honest. |

Shit man, you can't deny Quake...it was the beginning of the new era. Team Fortress? That was my first true online gaming addiction. Xaxxon kicks ass tho. Wolf3D was great.

I liked Doom a lot better... it was a lot of fun and still sort of light-hearted. Quake seemed to take itself too seriously. But there's no denying that Quake not only raised the bar, but created a new one as did Wolf 3D back in the day. |

I have to admit I skipped over Doom almost completely...I played it a few times at a friend's house and such. I still don't see what all the fuss is about. It was for sure a step up from Wolf3D, but not enough to make me shit my pants. I still remember the first time I joined a Quake online deathmatch..I indeed shat my pants.

How about being the first truly multiplayer game (sure there were others before, but not like this)? And amazing (at the time) graphics? And the game that jumped the huge stepping stone from 2D to 3D (even if only simulated). It's hard to look back and see that all now, but it was an incredible game, far more important in the scheme of things than Quake. |

Actually I've never been in any kind of chat rooms before so I'm no expert. And I don't mind flirting, its kinda fun, but I don't like to be treated like some common whore. |

Yeah, but I get the feeling you're the type to hold stuff in. Like your undying lust for me as a result of the picture in my bio. That's seriously what I look like. I'm even wearing a top-hat right now. |

Wow, off topic, I just did this style analysis report questionnaire for work, its freaking hilarious. It's like a 26 page report on how I am at work, one thing it says is I tend to want to want to be around people like myself. Who's the clone now hey Mike?
This is basically the gist though: - a need to help others, that's what makes you feel good - accommodating - patient and resigned - you would prefer to wait out problems rather than confront them - stable, great under pressure - intense and reflective - adaptable - soft spoken - super organized - a bit of a perfectionist??? - always ready to adapt to new rules and processes
Ya right! |
