I think you just did. Anyways, I like the way they spit, maybe I'll start doing that, classy hey? Or the way they drink, no fuckin around, let's have 10-15 shots in a row. In a way it reminded me of MBFGW just because the dad, or papa, wanted to have some control and he really didn't have too much. It would be so nice to live so simply in a way though, I think we have way to much technology that clutters up our lives so we can't even amuse ourselves. Like last time I went to West Ed I was in a bathroom and when I used the blower to dry my hands and a tv screen popped up at eye level with ads etc. I hate that. Or to live for the moment, it seems all I do is plan or try to keep up.
Did you get the fire picture, my bro kinda knows the firefighter who took that pic. |

Yeah, as much as I love/use technology (I make a living creating it), I sometimes think it would be nice to go somewhere totally remote and isolated even for a while. Even just a vacation. A friend of mine drove up north and canoed all the way to Winnipeg which would be really cool. Out on your own for a week or two, the water, a few supplies, and so on. Every once in awhile you row through a town/city and then back to the open spaces. Or just go to New Zealand and live in Hobbiton. Either way. :)
I didn't get the pic, unless you mailed it to the yahoo account.

Nope I used the other one, and I forget the yahoo one.
I would just like to believe that I could live without my tv but that's kind of a joke. I guess that's why I try to go to the lake as much as possible and take my kids there. I think this generation will be way worse, my son and his friends sometimes have difficulties keeping themselves amused there and like I said its lakefront with boats treehouse etc. They always just want to link up their gameboys and I have to go and confiscate and then they're totally pissed. I always laugh because i already say shit like "when i was your age" but really when i was their age I would've had a blast there. Anyways there's noone in the office so I'll probably end up posting like no other today. |

Yeah, he's back in school and does have a p/t job as well, but it's retail so he can't exactly be sitting bored in a cubicle. Lucky bastard. If it helps, I fill him in on everything that goes on around here. :) He's reverted to lurking a little more than posting too. It's so hard to stay on top of things.
Carolyn, I didn't get that pic. And I was much more not into going outside and stuff when I was younger, but I've gotten out of that phase long ago. I always loved the lake and doing watersports but sun worshipping wasn't for me and swimming got boring and I missed my tv/nintendo/computer when I was there. We didn't really have any good handheld games in my day. :)

No good handheld games? Don't the three members count for anything? Badoom-tish!
Nope, that's not going to get old any time soon.
I'm going to go clean up this hovel. I picked up my Hoover from The Vacuum Cleaner Hospital today. (Ugh.) I hope that the "patient" is ready to return to full-time duty.

Hey, itchload just reminded me that John Ritter was in Slingblade. How about watching it out of respect for the deceased, I mean its the least you could do. |

Well, why didn't you SAY it had John Ritter! Now I'll definitely avoid it. :) I'll watch it, don't worry.

I think I might start crying (you know how I am Carolyn).... mere misses me! And I'm a little dickens! Me! A dickens! Makes me want to put on a tattered sweater vest and some fingerless gloves and such, just to make myself even more Dickensian. I miss you crazy kids too! Except Dean! And just to make you feel better Carolyn, I know who the Sugarcubes are/were, though I don't know the song "Birthday". 'Cept for the Beatles song Birthday. Well it's my birthday too, ya!
And hey, I've been posting here and there, it's ain't been no 80 times a day, but I beens arounds. Perhaps I just need to create threads that are entirely about myself to get noticed.... |

We actually record downtown at a top-floor (38th) floor studio called, ironically, Hangar 18 Studios. We had a four hour bout with several session musicians and a guy who called himself Tommy. The good news is that we've finished recording and have been signed to Spinart.
OK, so we were in my parents' basement (though we record in the garage), but we actually didn't record because Mike "I'm not in the mood" ____ was not in the mood. And we'll probably be lucky if our own not-yet-existent label picks us up, nevermind Spinart. But we did watch Lord of the Rings Extended edition. Tasty movie. We will probably watch the second this weekend.

Oh you almost had me going there, at least for 2 seconds. Garage hey? Do you guys have the standard eggcarton wall treatment and/or the obligatory Farrah Fawcett pinup poster? You know, I'm not really into any science fiction/fantasy kind of stuff but my son has all good things to say about LotR and if I don't get him the director's version or whatever by Christmas, he's running away. Did you also play Dungeons and Dragons back in the day? JK |

You MUST see LotR. And read the books. Must. No, no eggcartons. I don't think Dean's daddy would take to kindly to us remodeling his garage. And it's not Farrah Fawcett, it's Dom Deluise in the same bathing suit, in the same pose. And yes, Dean's mom put bandaids on the protruding nipples. |

Is this true, you guys aren't going to Ween? Too bad, I was looking forward to meeting you guys. So now Mike won't be givin me the BSS cd. Well then, I'm not goin to BSS just to spite ya ;) |

Hey man, I'd go to Ween, but Dirty Dean doesn't want to take the days off work. I mean, he's fine spending 80% of his time on here, but not taking two days of work to worship the boognish. And Carolyn, download the BSS record ("You Forgot It In People"). And then go to the show, we'll see you there.
Most of my history is littered with run ins with various dodecahedrons. |

It wouldn't do for the leader of the Cult of Frank to be involved with another quasi-cult. That said, I was a D&D Dungeon Master for eight years of my youth.
Nope, just kidding. Did I scare you? :) I wouldn't even have known there was a 12-sided die involved.

No, but I do hate you.
Dirty Dean only posts when work is slow and there's nothing for me to do but make-work. I expect that you shant see much of him next week, however. Well, relative to this week, anyway. I'm just getting things done way too fast this week. I'll have to put a stop to it.

That's true. I had that dream last night, where you floated in through the window. Except you had Keira Knightley's face and Charlize Theoren's body, and your name was Ashley. And she... err.. you (yes, that will do) were all about being in control. So I can't deny it.

I do, you read my mind last night.
Of course, they brought the tea-towel because the sheets couldn't deal with all that and were saturated. HATE when that happens.

Well, to know about my alleged dream and the events therein, you would've had to have read my mind. Of course, I never actually have dreams like that. They're usually about really stupid everyday stuff. I like the dreams where either there is me in a hero role for some reason, where there is something really bizarre involved that makes a good song, or where really attractive women suddenly pursue me. I'm a simple man with simple desires.
As for comment 2, you really left me no recourse. And how bloody long will it take for 5:00 to get here?! I'm so bored out of my tree it's not even the remotest bit funny.
