Nice.
Some Ween stuff is pretty fucked up though, those guys are all over the map. So no Saskatoon show I take it. |

Yeah, no Saskatoon for Ween it appears. Oh well... I've always wanted to see them at... Reds?! Well, whatever. It's an excuse to visit another city for a day or two and give Whyte Ave one last go. I haven't heard a lot of their stuff, but from what I know of them, I'm probably not a fan of their earlier stuff. I assume we'll see you there even though neither of us knows who you are and vice versa. Mike'll be the one in the parachute pants.

lol, parachute pants. Do you remember that one song push the little daisies? Or you didn't know the homo rainbow song right? Some of their stuff is too rough for me like the coke on the cock stuff. You'll have to tell me what you're really wearing so I know who are. |

I'm a guy, I don't plan my wardrobe that far in advance. Heck, I don't even know what I'm wearing today and I've been at work for two hours. You'll have to tell us what YOU'RE wearing so we can gaze from afar and make snide comments.
I agree about the rougher, more low-brow stuff, and I don't really find it all that funny. But I'll just tune out the lyrics as best I can and listen to the music itself for those ones. I actually just got White Pepper and The Mollusk a few weeks ago, so that's the limit of my exposure. The Mollusk is still in that 'growing on me' phase, where White Pepper is already brilliant and the sole reason for me seeing Ween. |

thats the only one i have. its pretty good. i don't like the guy singer though. it kind of sounds like something is stuck up his nose...or something. there's a creepy little lullaby song at the beginning of some of the songs, and the whole album has a lot about "frozen places" and "friends". she's always on about her freakin friends! does she think they're important or something? is 'the execution of all things' the new one? cos thats what i'm talking about. i've just seen it says it was released in 2002, so their might be a newer one.

"Oh, You Pretty Things" - Bowie
I just can't help but to sing along. Especially the 'homo-superior' bit with all the voice-cracking and whatnot.

Gouge Away..... Ive been singing Gouge since I got hold of the live version from Spinart site. My girlfriend hates heavy music but has asked me what song I keep singing because she quite likes it. I'll have to play her the song.... On occasions she has said that she likes some of the FB tunes that I play.

Pink Floyd - Jugband Blues
Syd's last song with the Floyd. Beautiful song...the coda is worth the trip...simply beautiful. Sad and depressing. It's beautiful though.

"Gagging Order" by Radiohead. It is a b-side from the "go to sleep" single. Everytime I hear it I think that nothing could ever possibly surpass the quality of this song. It's suprisingly simple for Radiohead, but it blows me away. I can listen to it 5 times in a row and not get tired of it. It is so good that it could have been a Bob Dylan or a Beatles song. Has anyone heard this song? I know that there are many Radiohead fans on this forum. I reccommend it for downloading. |

I just watched the Go To Sleep video. Watching him sing was very creepy in that video, but it was sort of cool, too. Haven't heard Gagging Order, though. |

Oh, I love "Venus."
I have the Lemonheads "Big Gay Heart" stuck in my head today. It's probably been triggered by Dean's little rainbow hypno-stars. |
