Does anyone else think the end of Mr Grieves is fantastic stripping music? I'd love to have a girl dance to the end of that and get naked because naked girls are awesome.

Funny you should say that useyourname...

only last night i was playing 'Mr Grieves' when I heard a tapping at the window.

I thought "funny..." but carried on listening to el franco. Thirty seconds later there was another tap at the window so i got up to investigate.

It was that bleedin' bird Wilma from the TV series of 'Buck Rogers' stripping outside my window to the tune of Mr Grieves and frankly I wasn't amused.

I said "Wilma!" because after all that is her name, "Wilma! It's OVER! You're living in a dream world - you and me, it wasn't meant to be - go back to Buck!."

And then I pushed her off the window ledge...sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

I keep playing Mr Grieves on and on when my wife's at home, and she never strips. What should I do?

Well funny you should say that vilainde...

Only last night i was playing 'Mr Grieves' when I heard a knocking at the door.

I thought "funny..." but carried on listening to Los Pixios. Thirty seconds later there was another knock at the door so i got up to investigate.

It was that Mrs Vilainde from the Frank Black Forum stripping outside my bedroom door to the tune of Mr Grieves and frankly I wasn't amused!

I said "Mrs Vilainde" because after all that is her name, "Mrs Vilainde! It's OVER! You're only doing this to tease your good husband! Now go back to Mr Vilainde!."

And then I poked her in the eye with a soapy toothbrush because sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

I do like Derek and Clive but have to be in the right mood for them...However I particularly enjoy watching Peter Cook's efforts to make Dudley Moore laugh.

Yeah, I've got some Derek and Clive tapes but barely listen to them.

Incidentally, I'm glad to see that I am not the only one Mrs Vilainde is bothering in this way. I try to skip to Crackity Jones, but that makes her worse.

Hey Ten Percenter, do you go to Glasgow much? I lived there for the last eight years (but moved to London a few months ago)

I go to Glasgow quite often, my brother lives there (Pollockshields) and I have one project there at the moment. I was at King Tuts a few weeks back.

King Tut's is a great venue isn't it? I missed the time Frank played there though...The Barrowlands is good but has a different kind of vibe i guess.

I lived near Maryhill.

I'm not really a big football fan Ten Percenter but of all the teams around - I'm sure the Maryhill Magyars would get my vote.

What's Edinburgh like for seeing bands play?

YOu're asking the wrong person - I barely get out now that I have two kids. (The fact that I was at the anti-landmine gig in Princes St Gardens on Saturday is pure coincidence.) I quite like the Liquid Rooms though, where Frank played two years ago, and kicks off the tour in September.

A few years back I took my Doolittle cd to a strip bar and one of the girls there danced to Hey. It was fucking amazing! Pixies turned pornographic, it was truly the best!

I've been to just one strip club in my life, and one of the dancer's stripped to Monkey Gone To Heaven. It was a nice surprise. Beautiful naked women, and the Pixies. If only there'd been a Giants game on, it would have been Heaven.

I've been to a strip club where a girl danced to "Where is My Mind?" - talk about a surreal experience.

"did anyone ever think that he looked exactly like a silver penis??"

He did!

...And I'm sure he used to make inappropriate comments to Wilma as well?

...he did have the voice of a dirty old man/android.

...I guess they got away with that kind of thing in the 70s / early 80s.

...Oh those halcyon days!
