It's the old man's birthday today, and I thought about letting him get away without saying anything, but that wouldn't be very much like me...
So happy 2-3, M-V. |

I'm more confused/aroused now than before. Mathematics moves at such a crawl. |

Alright I'm not so good with the thinking today. the gimme was that I set u up to reply with anything re the bumps comment. The math is for work and you'd laugh your ass off if you could see the strained and confused look on my face. |

Yeah, we saw them in Portland and I was blown away by Eric (and of course, the other Catholics, though something is special about him doing such a rocking job on my instrument... plus all the recorded stuff and producing on Teenager were amazing). So I chatted with him a bit after the show and gushingly told him how awesome he was (so I got giddy, sue me), to which he replied "twarn't nuthin" and then something to the effect of it just being chords.
We chatted some more about Korg's and other keyboards (since I was in the market for one anyway) and about his latest project, Knife & Fork, and then he let me give him a hand in putting the stuff (including his keyboard) away. Which was awesome... I always feel like an idiot standing there chatting while they're working on clean up.
Anyway, he was super-friendly and chatty, and a pleasure to talk to as well as an amazing and (I think) under appreciated artist, and we got FB to come in and got a picture taken... which I now have enlarged to 8.5 x 11 and signed by FB (Eric didn't come to Saskatoon).
So that's the closest I can come to have a Peter Radiator-esque story. Which is entirely unrelated to Mike's birthday, until I tie in the fact that the concert described took place a few months before Mike's previous birthday. Yes. That will do. |

As long as I am mentioned in some capacity in every post in this thread, I won't be reduced to tears. Thanks Dave, I plan to take full advantage of the 2-3 by spending a majority of it in boring classes I rather not but nonetheless have to take. Hoo ray.
A personal greeting from Corey Feldman? I truly have acheived a new level of uphoria. I mean, I always prefered Corey HAIM, but this better than no Corey at all! |

Um, well, it was intentional, but no, I'm really not up on right-wing Canadian politicians. I stole it from the pictionary thread so that I could say, "Happy Birth Day, Speedy." |

The fact that you are from the US and have a clue who Stockwell Day is (I know that I posted the pic, but weren't you the one to guess it?) is impressive. Mere, when November comes and the Teenager of the Year award nominations are being handed out for awesomest FB.Net member, I'm going to nominate you instead of myself. Well, I'll probably vote twice, 'cuz I'm like that, but...
Alright, so there's no such thing as the Teenager of the Year award, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it? |
