I finally recieved my copies of devils workshop, black letter days, and The Pixies (purple tape), from cooking vinyl (fb's uk record label) and to my pleasant suprise they all turned up signed by the man himself! I was just wondering if this was common or unusual for buying them mail order.
try www.cookingvinyl.com they might send you your own set. they were running a competition to win signed copies but i missed the closing date, so you can imagine my pleasant suprise!
I got signed copies too. In fact he signed BLD twice for some reason. When I phoned they told me a large batch had been signed - probably a few are still waiting to be picked up
I think large batch for Frank and Cooking Vinyl means c100 copies! My Devil's Workshop is signed once with black pen - BLD has both the red and black signature. I think this means we are special!
I am jealous also! I ordered mine through CD store early August. Well maybe I can get an autograph on the 23rd, when he plays his solo show at The Bottleneck in Lawrence, KS...
