Cant wait till November 17th when i'll be seeing the great FOO FIGHTERS at the Newcastle Telewest Arena !  Now all we need is for Frank and the guys to tour the UK again !

| Foo Fighters know how to put on a great, rockin show. I haven't gone to a ton of concerts, although a good number of them, and the Foo Fighters rocked harder than anyone else I've seen. Dave is hilarious and very energetic...all in all a great time. |

I agree with the great live show, but the last two singles they've release have been garbage. Dave no longer has Cobain to milk talent off of, and he falls apart. Too bad.. The first couple of albums were good.

haha cobain has been dead for a long time and foofighters have put out many albums since, so i dont know what that cobain comment is supposed to mean. i agree that the new single isnt the best song, and given to fly or whatever its called was pretty good but not great, but i mean give him a break. foo fighters have a lot of good songs, like stacked actors for example.

"All My Life" is a great foo fighters song. It takes a good musician to play in 2 different bands on different instruments.

Wow.. People are so polite on this forum that they can't even say that the foo fighters blow. There does exist good and bad bands. It ain't all good, good, good (and a little bad if you're currently in the spotlight instead of Mister Black). An opinion.

yah there are plenty of bad bands, but foo fighters are not one of them. they are better than the white stripes and the strokes and everyone seems to get an erection over them

Saw the Foo's at Reading a few years back.
They RAWKD!
I have fond memories of being on the fringes of the mosh pit and having a blast!

if you don't like the foo fighters, at least give them this:
-they are 8 times better then alot of crap on the radio right now.
-dave grohl is hilarious
-they don't sound like nirvana and they have their own sound.
-they put on a REALLY good live show
-dave grohl plays drums on queens of the stoneage "Songs for the Deaf" and that album rocks (not really relavent to whether or not you like the foo's)

Note:
The parts in brown are one single chord (with a slide to a second every now and then). Very boring shit even if the vocal melody is not complete garbage. The red is the 'chorus', which is an even less creative 4 or 5 chord ditty. The first two albums were alright - good, even - but this single does not deserve to be played by a homely highschool cover band.

Dude who cares about this one single. You make it sound like it's the worst song on the radio. Listing the lyrics and saying the verse has one chord in it does not give a good review to anyone who hasn't heard the song. Some lyrics seem alot worse when read and not heard with the music.
These are the lyrics to the chorus of Nirvana's "Lithium":

Wow that really did it justice didn't it?
Sure "All my life" isn't mind blowing but a decent amount of people probably like the foo fighters here and to trash them like that is kinda weak in my opinion. I may be overreacting but i enjoy the Foo Fighters and their new album is quite good.

| I dunno the lyrics.. got it from some page. I thought it was ON TO as well. Maybe the rest of the album is good, but that song is weak. |
