Hey,
Anyone going to this event or from Philly?
Some friends and I are heading down to catch this and wondered if there might be anything anyone would recommed checking out in the city. Basically stuff like good live venues, interesting areas of the city, clubs, pubs, art galleries etc....
Cheers,

Thanks Bazz,
Should be a good match to take in. My team isn't playing so it won't be too emotional... just hope to see some good football.

Didn't Man Utd play Juventus last night??? Today Real Madrid are playing a select team called Beijing Dragons in Beijing.... it'll be Beckhams first game for Real and a few of my mates are going to see it. Personally I don't see the point in going, it'll be a shit match, and people are just paying to see a woman with a beard play football (granted that he is a good footballer).
War....... Its not fantastic |

Boys,
Good match in Philly. Really enjoyed seeing two amazing sides play. The first half was excellent as both teams fielded their starting sides (minus Veron) and it was awsome. Lots of attacking and several pretty plays. Klivert and Rhonaldino were excellent as were Giggs and Fior [sic].
Second half show cased the lesser lights, although, Van Nistlerooy was in and scored a great goal.
At the end of it all 3-1 for Man U in a great game.

???
Baz I already went to the game... it was great though. You should take advantage of getting to see that quality of football any chance you get. I think your Reds will be tough this year. Depending on the Mad Russian and who he buys I don't forsee you missing out on a title again.
Sadly it appears as though the arse won't be loading up this year but I hope they are atleast in a position to play in the Champs league next year. |
