Ed, the topic implies that we know this already.
(actually it's a chess move that is forced on you that you would otherwise not have made but it is the only move available)

"ishist" i don't know but zugzwang i know is a german word used in chess game to indicate a position where it's a disadvantage to play a move (you would rather not play a move at all).
HAving said that, the line "Zugzwang got me in a way/Under my opposing thumb" hardly means anything to me. What could it mean ?

yes! i do this when i am driving alone in my car. One time me and my three friends had this song on in the car and me and the driver stomped our feet and clapped our hands, but the guys in the backseat didn't. Me and the driver laughed and gave high fives cause we were cooler than the backseat boys.

...your fondest memory about your trip up to Eureka was blasting "California Bound" up the 101 next to the Eel River.
...you got to Eureka and spent half the time thinking about Robert Gunther and the poor Wiyot.
(maybe these don't belong in the top 10, but they're confessions of an FB geek)
