So i'm 15 years old, and live in a small town in northern California. All of my favourite records and artists seem so distant. The Mission of Burma song This is not a photographwas a lie. And yet when i was playing a modern lovers record at my friends house, her dad said that it sounded like a guy he used to know. I said it was Johnathin Richman and he said that that was the guy. That they knew eachother in Nevada city. I was speechless. It all came home. |
