Might need some soddering done to it...could just be that the switch is getting crappy (which would be weird since i would assume that model isn't too old). What happens exactly? |

yeah i've only had it a few months, pretty much out of nowhere it got all jammed. basically it was nearly completely stuck if it was up or down. i took it apart and looked to see if anything looked entirely wrong, since i'm not a guitar tech guy in the least, but it looked normal, just that it was sticking and bending the metal arma bit instead of sliding off. anyway, now it's kinda loose but working so who knows.
i think the YKYR video is supposed to premier on mtv2 today by the by.

yeah, i'd have to see it first in order to give better judgement. i've fixed many a guitar problems, and this one doesn't sound very serious. if only you lived closer. i saw the video online, i have to see it on TV now. it's nothing very exciting. |

yeah its not exciting at all i don't think. they should've made a cartoon or something for it. it kinda reminds me of when g'n'r put that video out for the live version of welcome to the jungle or whatever a few years ago.
my switch is now right in the middle, no longer loose or stiff. i think i'll use it in the most delicate of manners from now on.
