Hey!
I've got this entire show of what sounds like a board recording from the 8th May 89, at Farris Polytechnic, Bristol in the UK.
Not weird you may say, but the first couple of songs, it sounds just like Dave is using a synth drumkit- just wondering if anyone else has this bootleg and can tell me if i'm going mad?

completely unrelated to what this is actually about, but having lived in Bristol for a short while, I've never heard of Farris Poly - although it was based in Frenchay - anyone know any better? I went and looked it up too, to double check, and found this link

Found this on a bootleg site, seems to be saying the same thing..

This Farris Polytechnic seems not to exist!
When I look it up on the net, I always get references to that particular Pixies-show. Strange, because if it really existed, you would expect other bands having played there too.
Does anyone have more info about the correct venue? |

okay. i checked it out with rock a my soul #1 and it says they played bristol studio 8 may 89. i have no copies of rams #2 left, which contained omissions and additions to the gig list, but it should be right.
