I'm desperate here! Does anyone here live in or around State College, PA and/or knows someone who lives there? I'm moving there in August with my girlfriend (she got a scholarship for her Masters to Penn State) and I need a freakin job, bad...so, if anyone could help your friendly neighborhood moderator out, I'd very much appreciate it!

Do know that if you're desperate and want/need flexable hours, McDonalds is always hiring.

There are at least five in State College, PA.

State College is a madhouse my friend. Imagine a dorm that decided to become a town.

My advice is to become an AA counselor, you'll make a mint.

I spent a summer in State College in the mid-80s doing political organizing work. Man, was my work cut out for me there... not a good job if you're there during school time though. Political work is a 60-hour a week job...
