I know of 3 now, including in Louisville this year when I went. And at the recent Canadian show that is now available online, lol. And someone mentioned it on the tab boards too.

How many times has he done this now? If you were at a show and he tripped, post the date HERE!

Got coffee, got donuts, got wasted..

when he played with Gordon Gano last year in LA he literally sprawled out on the monitor and sang punk rock style, on the floor, on his belly..

but that was intentional.

Frank tripped and spilled his water all over the monitor at King Tuts in Glasgow (Scotland) last time around; he also kicked over his bottle of water on entering the stage at Dundee the next night (he then placed that and his un-drunk beer right in front of me; I took care of them after the show), and he tripped over the monitor there too.

He also seems to break strings regularly during Every Time I Go Around Here for some reason...

Cheers to what's shaping up to be Frank's least favorite message board thread (in a good way I think at least)

In 96 (I think) in Philly at the Troc, someone in the audience spit at Frank right at the beginning of Men in Black. It nailed him right in the face! He was really pissed and stopped playing the song and scolded the guy.

He decided he wasnt gonna play it at all and moved on to the next song. Man was I pissed--that was the song I was most looking forward to. No encore that night either.

This isnt really a stage mishap, but after the show at the same venue in 2001, the bands trailer was stolensteel guitars and everything.

The last time Frank played Philly (this past November) he switched venoes--dont know if this was done on his part. The Troc seems to be bad luck for FB and the Cs!

Hahaha. Great thread. I hope that Frank comes here so he can trip over the Sydney Opera House.

... we saw FB&the C's in Milwaukee shortly after that -- and it was one of the best shows we've ever seen. The pros that they are, you could tell they were not happy about losing all their gear (and all their sellable product that could have brought in some $$$) but they took it out not on the audience but on their instruments -- they converted all that negative energy into a great show, full of emotion and raw power. That's the difference between pro and amateur.

I haven't noticed any stage mishaps on Frank's part, but perhaps that's because I too am a major klutz (especially on stage!!!!) and so I tend to forgive and forget stuff like that.
