From Cooking Vinyl:
Frank Black has announced that he will be doing a one-off solo show at The Underworld, Camden, London on Tuesday 8th July. This will be the first time he has played in the UK since 2001. Tickets are £10.00, subject to a booking fee, and are available from the venue’s box office on 020 7482 1932 or online via www.wayahead.com.
Frank Black & The Catholics will be releasing a limited edition CD single, Everything Is New (FRYCD161) on 8th August, which is taken from the forthcoming album Show Me Your Tears (COOKCD 262), due for release on 8th September. The album, which features guest appearances by Stan Ridgway, Joey Santiago, Van Dyke Parks, Eric Drew Feldman, Rob Laufer, Jack Kidney, and the Pale Boys, is described by Black as Thirteen big, salty tears. Like thirteen little black dogs just born, still in their sacs, about to wake up, ready to howl at the world. There isn’t a happy song in this bunch.
Frank Black & The Catholics will be touring the UK later in the year. More details to follow...

Just so you know the e-mail address for the bbc show is not correct. It should read: lamacq.6music@bbc.co.uk

Anyone have a track listing for the Everything Is New single? I was just wondering if it will have the same tracks as the Nadine single due out from SpinArt in August.

By the way...the track listing on the 'Everything is New' CD single is... 1) EVERYTHING IS NEW 2) TAKE WHAT YOU WANT 3) DOWN IN THE HOLE
Of course. That is for the 'cooking vinyl' version of the 'Everything is New' single. Looks like there could be a few record companies releasing it? (Amazon.com lists the 'Everything is New' single as being released on a record label called 'Phantom'). Wonder if the different record companies will have different B-side tracks?
