If any highly entrepenurial individuals are out there or anyone from FB management or FB or THE C's themselves,
I would pay a large hefty chunk of money for a well recorded live show of Frank Black and The Catholics on DVD, nothing fancy (except maybe those cool cowboy shirts).
Let me know when it's done. Thanks.

i still think it would be cool if someone did a kind of "behind the scenes" of FB&C's.. i didn't see the Wilco film, I'M TRYING TO BREAK YOUR HEART.. and i don't really like Wilco, but I think something like that would be so great. how cool would it be to have footage of the fellas recording Dog In The Sand?
then again, i guess that would take some of the mystique out of it too..
anyway, i concur.. i'd buy the DVD. |

FB and the C's on DVD would be a great idea. DVDs are marketed towards die hard fans...fans who want to own the movie, not just rent it. That's how they make money. Frank has..according to this forum--at the very least over a 1000 diehard fans, who'd all buy the DVD I'm sure. Lots of less commercial bands are putting out DVDs nowadays, Robyn Hitchcock and The Fall for one. FB should be next! |

I'd buy it the minute it came out, and I'm going to buy the Pixies DVD the minute it comes out, as well as the new album. Hell, I might just spend the night outside of the record store |

DVDs are becoming huge - i have a friend who owns an indie music store and he says the DVDs keep him in business - even obscure stuff like van der graaf generator's tv appearances are coming out on DVD now...

I agree Floop...
my dream sabbatical has always been to do "Don't Look Back: Frank Black". A year following the man around. Not really a concert in particular, but a look at their touring and studio lives. Probably won't get done by me, but I would love (and certainly pay handsomely) to see it. |

I would immediately buy absolutely ANY quality DVD of the Pixies, Frank solo, or FB&C. Hands down. Not a doubt. |
