Hey, i'm sure most of you have seen the movie, but anyone reading the book?

I just finished the first (second is on hold at the lib.) Wow, what a great book!

It's totally amazing to read a book that totally meshes with your personal ethos, almost perfectly..i don't think i've ever read fiction book with such a strong animal rights message, as well as other very progressive thoughts.. My type of fiction!!

The dialogue between prot(sic) and Gene is stellar..

Anyone familiar with this, or know of other 'socially progressive' fiction?

I haven't gotten this excited about a book in long while..

That's cool it's very animal rights related...however, I had to skip on the film because it looked like a remake of Starman with Jeff Bridges...Kevin Spacey needs to get evil again.
