this is my first post here, so let me say hi before anything else.

"Hi" [:|]

i was browsing the apple music store on my mac and noticed there's no frank black or pixies out of 215K songs on the store. so, i ask what's up? i know the store only has major label stuff on it (aka, 92% junk), but i thought the pixies would be in there because their CDs are sold by elektra/warner in the US. the last breeders record (also from elektra) is on there. wasn't the first FB CD also on 4AD/elektra?

maybe frank didn't authorize the online sale of the songs?

well, since then i've requested pixies and FB from online store staff a bunch of times.

anyway, the only song i found on the store that frank black wrote was a cover of cactus performed by david bowie. speaking of that specific cover, has FB commented on having one of his idols cover his song?

When using the URL command, you must begin and end your web address w/ quotation marks.

The first two FB records and all the Breeders albums are 4AD/Elektra releases. However, I think 4AD is acquiring or has recently acquired sole rights to said FB stuff as well as Pixies albums. I don't know what kind of bearing these facts have the Apple Music site situation, so...

as far as this apple service goes, Steve Jobs issued a statement saying he hopes to get the indie labels on board soon - so that would be when you'd be able to get pixies tracks from there - as it stands at the moment, I have no idea why the majors haven't let any FB tracks be available - maybe because the rights are going to revert back in the next couple of years?

once they start to have Beggars Group tracks there, you'll see Pixies on there....
