Hey there....caught the Vancovuer 7 Victoria shows and noticed that the sound was ALARMINGLY bad. I've seen him several times before and have never heard anything like it - does he tour with his own sound guy? At the Commodore in Vancouver I swear six people went up to the board during the show begging him to fix it. It made it difficult to get into the performance (which was stellar, of course). Anyone with me on this?

Sound at the Seattle show was fine. I spent the first half of the concert far left of the stage at the bar and the sound was good. I moved to the middle later on and it was even better. I was impresssed that the sound was not too loud; loud enough to feel the music, but not too loud to make it unenjoyable.

Bad sound is when the concert is cancelled. Last tour, I was at the Neurolux in Boise with a full house waiting for the FB show to start. Guess what?....cancelled! The venue could not get their crappy system to work properly. Talk about a letdown. And this year, Olympia stole the Boise show away, so I had to fly to Seattle to catch the show.

surgicalblue, how are you doing, Vancouver treating you well? I am patiently waiting for the Burnettes to be coming back to cowtown but i imagine that it's still a bit too cold here.
Take care
