I just flew back from Seattle and cannot get over how great the show was.

This was my first Frank Black and the Catholics show and it was 10 times better than I expected. I have no set list, for I had no note book or pen. The band played about a 2 hour set, including a 6 song encore.

The highlights of the evening were Jane the Queen of Love, Massif Centrale, Los Angeles, oh hell, the whole damn show was great.

I have to say that FB and the Cs is the best live band I've had the pleasure of seeing. They are amazingly tight; they just cranked throught one song after another without pause or effort.

I heard they may be playing in Salt Lake City on 4/25, but I cannot find out any more info. I'd like to take some friends down there to convert them to Catholicism. Anyone have any more info on a Salt Lake show?

Heh... that's awesome. He's so worth flying out there to see. I recommend the road trip though, it's all about getting pumped up to see him after a two day jounrey in the car with every Frank Black/Pixies album we can get our hands on plus all the B-sides and covers (with some other stuff thrown in just to maintain sanity). But it's great to see other die hards who will go the distance to see Frank out there - so many people complaining about things like, "Oh, you're not coming to New York this month, come back." And he's playing in Boston or New Jersey or somewhere close. But I rant, great that the show was awesome, appreciate the review.

I was also at the Seattle show. this was the 3rd time they played the Showbox and the best of all. It was in your face rock & roll !!
Some bald guy ran up on stage past Rich and stood behind Frank and kissed him on the back of his head :)
I also talked to Rich after the show, about the next release. 2 track again but from what I heard of it, its going to be GREAT !
