I agree with this statement completely...the 'fact' that pot makes you a total moron is just a gross generalization and not based on truth. I smoked tons of it throughout college, and graduated with mostly A's and B's. so there!
Also, even if the "Man" is monitoring this board....no one said anything that would warrant some kind of legal investigation. nobody said something like "i'm growing fifteen plants right now at home" or anything. to say you HAVE smoked pot, that is not grounds for any kind of legal trouble. I'VE SMOKED POT. so there!
besides, the feds and local law have all kinds of fun, disgustingly expensive toys at their disposal to keep their lovely little 'war on drugs' rolling...i don't think they would need to be perusing webboards online (especially Frank Black ones) to find leads for arrests. It doesn't seem like they have a shortage of otherwise-innocent pot smokers to be uselessly throwing into prison. misterwoe, i agree with you 100% -- it IS a huge shame to lose so much over such petty a thing....that's what our legislators and representatives need to drill through their thick skulls and stop arresting pot smokers!
Myriad arguments for decriminalization are out there...check out www.norml.org or any other similar site. i'm not going to sit here and spout rhetoric that has already been expressed thru and thru. I think that even NON-tokers see the logic in decriminalizing this plant. The change has to come soon...it's just a matter of when. |

Hahaha....oh GOD brutha! you haven't seen the shit I've been smoking lately!  I beg to differ w/ you 100%...if you have the right avenues, you can find excellent herbals in the States. but I've been up to ol' Kanuck land and you guys do have some damn good weed! |

| i am ashamed to say that i am a regular smoker. more than three times a day. deal with bongs for the most part. i find it very anti-productive, but i know people who find that it doesn't hinder their ambitions at all. i shouldn't use it so much but, i love being high |

| i have been a heavy smoker since 8th grade and am now a freshman at college in buffalo. my parents did it and thats how i started. i would never recommend it to anyone who hasn't once already tried it and liked it. it made me lazy |

Canadians and Americans both smoke shit compared to Africa. I don't smoke pot, but my friend in the Army said Africa is where the best shit is. Like with coffee. Columbia gives the best shit to Germany first.
Personally, I think the idea that someone is monitoring our posts looking for Pot smokers is ludicrous. Can anyone say, "Hemp Rally"? They have a huge one in Boston every year and unless you're leaning on a cop car, smoking a bowl, no one bothers you. Marijuana busts are more of a pain in the ass to most cops except in small towns like the one I grew up in where they act like Don Johnson and shit anytime they bust someone with a bag of weed.

I know the stuff we have in upstate, NY is seedless and dank as hell(expensive as hell too). How it compares to the ganj in Holland or Canada, I couldnt tell you.
After a round of that stuff, and drinking a couple of Newcastle Brown Ales, is when I start listening to songs like SB Bevy on repeat. |

I smoke pretty mcuh every day, but usually at night or when I have nothing to do. It does make me really lazy but i don't give a shit, it's fun and I'm at uni living with my mates - it's about the only time in my life I'll be in this position. Music sounds incredible when you're stoned - my best experiences were Jeff Buckley's Eternal Life and BBF3 by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I swear I was close to orgasm both times. I've had some cracking giggling fits too, especially with some weed my friend smuggled back from Amsterdam. She only had a joint's worth and we smoked it between 5 or 6 of us, but it got us high as fucking kites! Amazing. I'm going with some mates in July. Steretypical student holiday but it'll be great!
Did shrooms once and that makes you silly. I thought Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind was the best song I'd ever heard! Do do do, do do-do doo!
