Does anyone know where I could download/buy videos of pixies? I have a few 30 second clips from mtv etc but I want more. Any information is greatly appreciated. I haven't seen those bootleg videos on ebay for some time. I just want videos!!!
nope, its never been scheduled, and its always been the plan to release it simultaneously worldwide, and as its not until next year the rights revert back to 4ad in the US, that's when its happening!
There is agreat live video of a Pixies show at Brixton Academy that is available worldwide. I have had a copy for a few years now. It is definately worth the struggle to find. They play Trompe songs for the first time.
yeah the brixton academy gig video is very good.... i managed to score me a copy of it probly 6 years ago now, and when i got it in the post and popped it in my video, they had added on tyhe town and country gig from '88 on the end of the tape to fill it up... to say i was stoked was an understatement..... best $20 i have ever spent... can't wait for the pixies dvd to come out which has to include these two amazing concerts....
When is the Pixies DVD coming out? What is it to include? Good to hear that the ending of your tape was worthwhile. At the end of the Brixton show came ZZ Top. Hey, I think they are alright....but not what I needed to see after being in awe of a full Pixies show. Had to laugh though!
