(If you read this post Frank)...The Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville, TN has a yellow/gold guitar, Gibson if my memory serves me right, that you autographed. They also have a picture next to the guitar that shows you standing on a sidewalk holding the guitar. I think I was probably the only one in there who knew what I was looking at. Is there a story behind that guitar? I thought maybe you got it from the Gibson factory in town.
Can't wait for you to come to Nashville on the 19th. Saw you in Athens, GA a few years ago. Also in Nashville after Cult of Ray, and in Memphis (collaborating with They Might Be Giants for They Might Be Black). Each show has been awesome.....thanks for the music!
you should try to meet frank at the show and ask him about the guitar, curious to hear what he says, and since hes on tour i dont think hell respond to this
Yeah....I asked about the guitar too. Same deal, no sell. I understand that Frank signed it and gave it to them under the assumption that they wouldn't sell it. Its just tough to see something as cool as that when you know most people in there have never been exposed (or exposed themselves) to his music. It was worth a try anyway. I just hope it doesn't end up in a Hard Rock warehouse somewhere.
