Hey dutes!
I went to the Tempe show and I loved it but I have one complaint: Too many Pixies tunes. It seemed like half of the show was Pixies half was FB and the C's. I love the Pixies and always will but Frank has such a huge arsenal of songs he's written and recorded after the Pixies broke up that I'd rather hear than Pixies tunes.
And out of the Pixies tunes he played I would have much rather heard some tunes from Trompe le Monde. Damn, most of those songs are glorious gems.
Again, I have to say I love all the Pixies tunes, but I would have to say I would have much rather heard songs from all the FB albums at the show. And if he wanted to play some Pixies tunes, play some from Trompe Le Monde.
Other than that, a very great performance.

tempe show was great. i agree with KANT, the pixies songs that were performed in tempe do not make my top 20. it meant something to hear them performed (never saw pixies live) and until i'm hired to make the set-list for their tour, i'll keep the air in my mouth from getting out. like KANT, i was wondering why there were no songs played from frank's first 3 solo albums. physically, frank looked great (compared to acoustic show at the mason jar).

zinch? there's two of you.

Frank always seems to play the same old Pixies songs..... Gouge Away is a must but alot of the Pixies songs he plays has become routine. Don't get me wrong I love the Pixies and I like to hear Frank play a few tunes, but everytime Ive seen him it has been the same tunes. The tunes he plays are also not really my favourite (he should play more off of Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde), although I was chuffed to see him play Holiday Song at the Garage a couple of years ago.

thanks!

in return, i will reveal the hidden meaning behind an wholly american saying:

'fo shizzle, my nizzle' translates loosely to 'why certainly, my good friend'

i hope this was of some help.
