I think this song is totally awesome.

Was just wondering which version everyone preffered. The SSMVGD version or the one from the All My Ghosts single.

I prefer the SSMVGD version. I think his voice is a little better in it.

The single version is MUCH better. The SSMVGD version seems kinda lifeless and I don't like the extra chorus.

What is the difference between the two? I've only heard one version, and I'm not sure which one. It's like 1:45 long...

Shadoof, you have the single version. The SSMVGD version is over two and a half minutes long. It quite a bit slower and has an extra chorus and instrumental bit between "...old men that were killed" and "and in the sky...". In my opinion, it's lackluster compared to the short version. Actually I feel at least half of SSMVGD is a bit dull and I'm glad Frank chose not to release it as an album.

my favorite version is a live version from the Prinzebar bootleg, a solo show he did in Germany in 2000.

i didn't fully appreciate the song until i heard that.

i occasionally eat chateaubriand.
