I e-mailed Spin Art and they said the four bonus tracks are: "Robert Onion," "Blast Off," Stupid Me" and "If It Takes All Night" (acoustic versions).

They're actually demos recorded by Frank with Joey Santiago, so it should be great. Has anyone seen the albul on shelves today? I tried to find it here in Paris but obviously didn't.

Saw it and bought it. The four extra tracks are NOT listed on the album at all. You must LOOK for the spinART logo and/or number spart 121.
The CD I got had a disclaimer sticker with the extra demo tracks, but if you find this you should still look for the spinART logo to make sure you have the right CD.

If they were the finished original DITS version, I wouldn't like them. Thank goodness they are demos.
I like extras and demos are always fun to listen to: -If you have the original you don't need this. -If you are a completist, you need this CD. -If you are like me and had a burned copy or no copy, this is the version to buy. |

The bonus tracks are pretty good. I think Blast Off sounds the best and I like Stupid Me the least of teh Demo versions. He sings Stupid Me the whole time falsetto.
The thing that caught me off guard was his voice is double tracked on Blast Off & Robert Onion. Kinda funny he multi tracks on Demo's and records live to Two Track for the albums.
I think it's worth it. |

Man, I didn't like "Stupid Me" at all until I heard the version on the new DitS release. There's a glitch during Robbie Onion where it's only the center channel I think. Overall it is Manna for the Frank freak.
Thomas: I am pretty disappointed in you for not owning DitS until now. That's not a good thing.
Oh and hey everyone: don't get excited about Joey Santiago with the demos, cause I don't think he's anwhere on 'em except maybe behind tape recorder.

Is it me or is this album a dud? A good friend told me this was his favorite FB record (besides TOTY), now I'm convinced he's hitting the pipe. I think it's worse than Pistolero, which I was so annoyed with I traded it in... To be honest, I haven't made it to the extra tracks. I get so bored with the songs I turn the fucking thing off and put on that "All My Ghosts" album or whatever it's called. BTW I went to a bar tonight that had Devils Workshop, Black Letter Days AND Teenager in the jukebox... AND the bartender put in 40 credits! The bad part was that I was on a date and I was paying more attention to Charles than my lovely company... BUT to top it off I had made her a CDR comp of FB! Wierd shit. Anyway... lip-lock central. Maybe that's why I'm writing this rambling post... yes, drunk and giddy and listening to San Antonio... a great love song. Right on par with Ween's Stay Here Forever

the bonus tracks are pretty good....i had to order the cd (import)....but it is worth it....the sound is pretty good, i'm not too sure he's accompanied by joey santiago though......it seems that he's alone.....

this is a little late, but so what. Just looked at the little sticker on the wrapping, and it says "bonus tracks were recorded by Joey Santiago & include..." blah blah blah. says nothin about playing on it. I didn't know Joey was known for his engineering skills. I'm sure they didn't put his name on just for marketing value. bastards. |

The Robert Onion/St. Francis B-sides probably aren't the bonus tracks because Frank may be saving them in case he wants to put out Oddballs II. |

if that were the case, then oddballs II would be amazing. however, isn't it rumored that panAH as well as some others are going to be recorded for the next album?
