I don't know what got me to thinking about this the other day, but I would be interested to hear any of yours guesses and the reasoning behind it.

I would think Frank doesnt really own many cars. But prolly leases them. I did see him about 2 years ago get into a late 80's cadillac. This was outside of the Mint in LA. It was a yellow cadillac, actually its identical to the one I have but mine is white. So my guess is an 89 Yellow Fleetwood Cadillac.

Hunh. That sounds like the same one he was driving back in the Pixies days. I know of at least one interview with Black Francis that took place in that car while he whipped around Hollywood smoking a big joint and generally scaring the hell out of the British reporter. Wonder if that's the one he's currently restoring? (It's a 1986.)

[What the fuck? I can remember useless minutiae like this but was unable to use the copy machine at school this morning cause I couldn't remember my code. Stoopid brain.]

I see Frank "loked out" in Khakis and laid up in an Escalade or Navigator...kidding, actually, i see him in a truck with his dogs in the back of it driving through the desert.

i used to have a piaggio in college. those were the days. chicks dig 'em too..

i'd love to get another Vespa but i don't really want to be killed before my time, getting run over by an SUV (very likely since i live in LA).. i had several near-death experiences when i rode one..

i don't like the new ones at all. if i got another scooter i'd definitely get another old-school one.

what part of Italy do you live in mun chien? (i'm italian too baby!)

i occasionally eat chateaubriand.

I can't figure out the SUV thing either. They take up a lot of gas. I think we should bring back the mini-van, you know? Hey I'm Greek too. My Papu actually moved back there last year. I'll be this summer.

hook it to my veins!

Because most SUV drivers are arrogant yuppie pigs with little concern for other motorists or the environment. They mistakenly think they are safe because they're in an SUV, but statistics show they're more likely to be injured or killed in a rollover.

Frank is a van guy all the way! Not the minivan kind, though. I mean the kind that are real vans. The kind on a truck body. Some folks customize them with shag carpet, murals on both the side and on the metallic wheel cover, and maybe even an octagonal table in between the seats. But not Frank. His is gutted, with only two front seats so's he can tote all his equipment around. It is probably painted royal blue, or maybe just white. He loves the van even though it looks like hell. He probably changes the oil himself instead of taking it to Jiffylube. He calls the van "vanny" or maybe "the van." No one supects Frank Black is driving this unremarkable vehicle. It is practical, and it affords him an inconspicuous mode of transportation despite his celebrity.

I've seen this white van he tours in. The back part...or the van part is tall and roundish. It is weird, but cool.
