OK, look I hate to knock the website of one of the greatest rockers of all time but... how on earth are we supposed to know when Frank Black and the Catholics are playing in our respective towns? It's been months since any tourdates have been posted on the main site and the site they redirect us to has absolutely no mention of a Frank Black tour PERIOD.
In fact the website has contained little to no new news/information/interesting stuff about the band that we all love so much for the past 2-3 months. Even the picture gallery is a link to the Frank Black search on Google. Come on guys! The fact that the rumors of fans in the forum is the one source of information that we have is pretty sad. I come here at least twice a week to check things out and most of the time, it's a waste of time.
So please try and come up with some way of keeping us informed of what's going on with, for some of us, our favorite rock act out there.

DrBone: I made the exact same comment on the AbstractPlain mailing list, complaining that the website didn't have much content apart from the forum (and the guitar tabs). It's still not official but I told Dave I could handle the news page, ie take out the relevant info from the forum and the spinART page and put it on the website.

Aye, Denis rocks for doing this. =)
If anyone wants to help out with the site (ie, getting us content) you're quite welcome and encouraged to do so.
Keep in mind DrBone (and anyone else) this site is 100% volunteer run.
Criticism is derserving, sure, but i don't think it is helpful at all at this point. |
