The latest Boston Phoenix has a full page article about Rich Gilbert's new band "The Blackstone Valley Singers" has anyone else read it? It has some nice things to say about FB&C and mentions that Catholic bootlegs are turning up at furthernet.com to which Rich says, "I've maintained for a while that the whole Phish, Blues Traveler, post-Deadhead hippie scene would like what Frank Black and the Catholics have evolved into. They'd appreciate the freedom of the band and the potential for things that can happen in the course of a night."
It's actually all online http://www.bostonphoenix.com/boston/music/cellars/documents/02660691.htm

I like this: And Gilbert plans to head back into the studio with them this week for yet another album, for which he freely admits he hasn’t yet learned the songs.
