Christ! You enjoyed Reading *that* much? It was quite possibly the worst festival of my life last year... Did they ban all those fucking annoying young kids who are getting stoned and drunk for the first time, acting like prats all night?
I've vowed never to return. It's only T-in-the-Park and maybe Glasto from now on for me...

yes mike is definately at reading, got a few texts from him. he'd seen modest mouse (well half the set) on friday (good lad! he learns quick!) and seems to be having a good time, weather is fine apparently...

doing stuff! In the real world! are you mad? I'm working this weekend (booo) and when I'm not working I have bought two new books to read, the plan was to keep myself so busy I'd forget I'm not at the festival, but my welsh friends are texting me all the time to tell me about the three litres of piss and the 50 cent is a gay sign they've got for when 50 cent graces the stage at leeds. They are very drunk. They really have saved three litres of piss, I almost convinced one of them to drink it
"It must be at least 40% proof.... they'd have done it in the war....."
 I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

I know he was at V festival last weekend, and he's at reading this week, I spoke to him last saturday but his presence has been missed.
