I didn't post it anywhere else and I don't remember seeing it anywhere, but I'm a newbie.
For me, its just another number - and some hang on numbers too much.
I remember - early high school (prior to Pixies/alt discovery), i was a long haired, pot-smoking, whisky drinking, heavy metal-listening to, jean jacket wearing, smoking in the boy's room sort of a kid - hung with the losers for whatever reason.
I fellow I had classes with - clean cut, rich, golf playing track star sort of a kid...and sort of a social fascist, got the same score on the ACT as I did.
His reaction: "YOU got the same score as ME!?!"
He was incredulous.
I've resented smart-assed rich kids ever since...as well as people that make too much of a number like a test score of some kind...including myself. |

I got a 140/Visionary Philosopher in this sometime ago, too, but I don't trust commercial IQ tests much less ones where the company has nothing to gain by inflating your score.
The test was quite a bit too easy and there's really no way that all of us have +100 scores.
I'd like to compare this against a regular iq test and see how it stacks up.

Allegedly, but the thing is, he spent so long on his problems. The longer you take doing an IQ test, the lower the score will be by default.

I took the Tickle test years back and got a 124, which would me me too, a word warrior...but I've also done other IQ tests so if you go by them, my IQ is anywhere from 124-156.

i did one a few years ago and i got 139.
i was pissed cause my brother got 140.
but i beat my sister who got 137.
so it wasn't all bad.
but really, what is the point of knowing what your IQ is apart from skiting rights?

i got a higher score the last time i took this, but i did it rather quickly this time. it's not accurate at all though. for those of you who don't know, iq (intelligence quotient) was originally supposed to be your "mental age" divided by your "physical age" X 100. the average score is meant to be 100.
