The granddaddy of them all is Seven Cities of Gold. Anyone play that one on an Apple 2 or C64? I use to love that game (fun to search for cities and resources while your party wastes away from a lack of food) and was nostalgic about how good it was. Then, a couple years I downloaded it and played it on a C64 emulator. It was no longer impressive.

I think Wee(The Lost Sessions) might have been a nod to crappy sci-fi shows everywhere, if you listen to it backwards...

Civilization (the social structure, not the game) is highly over-rated...which reminds me of a song by the Last Men on Earth, of which I am a proud member.

Colonization was a cool game but when it comes to old Microprose I'm more into X-Com or Pirates! Or there's always the grandaddy of them all. Civilization.
