Posted - 07/05/2004 : 06:37:54 So, I cant remember where I heard this, but apparently the time when you lose your virginity - the way in which that happens will decide how you like sex for the rest of your life.
So like, if the lights were on, then you always like it with the lights on; position etc....
However, there is also the theory that Its not so much the sex, but your first partner, fisrt person you fall in love with which decide (even if sub consiously) what sort of person you will be rawn to for all of your subsequent relationships.
This I think has more weight to it. Even though i though I went for completely different guys each time, they are basically all the same. they have at least 3 of the same qualities.
1- Arrogant 2- Controlling 3- Liars
ok, so that could be every guy in the world, but theres a bunch of other things aswell. No matter how nice they seem at first, they all boil down to the same guy.
So do you think you go for the same person everytime? Do you look for the same sort of person? What was you first love like?
Just thought I'd throw that in there... |

Posted - 07/09/2004 : 14:56:53 A 45-50 year old woman, a co-worker, hit on me last night. She's desperate for a husband and boy was I uncomfortable.
I tried whatever I could think of at the time to politely put a wall up between us ("I don't think I'll ever get married", I remarked conversationally), but I have a scary feeling that she didn't get it. She's a nice lady. I don't want to be rude.
In my teens and early 20s I had a thing for older woman. Maybe most guys at that age do. I still wouldn't have gone for Co-Worker Lady back then, but I have clear memory of a painful crush on a teacher. There's the obvious allure of being handled by an experienced woman, but I think much of the psychology at work, for a young man, is that he interprets interest from a sexy older lady as a high compliment. ("If a hot 33 year old likes 19 year old me, I must be really mature and special!")
And for older women who are interested in younger men, I think some of them are also dealing with ego issues. To an aging woman, fucking a younger man makes HER feel younger. Most women are neurotic about their looks and for many it only gets worse as they age because they think they're losing whatever they may have had in their 20s. Luring in a younger guy, makes them feel that they still have it. |

I go for older men because they no what they are doing, bed wise. I mean, id never had 'bad' sex before, but once youve had someone who actually knows what they are doing...*sigh*. Yeah, thats why I couldnt go out with a 'boy' again. ever. I go for older men because they are MUCH sexier than these teenage/early 20s thug type idiots. Men get better looking with age., They are like wine. I go for older men because they are (normally) pretty settled. they know what they are doing with their life, and they have done (normally) a wealth of things. I love being told (true) stories. older guys have a lot of them. Older men have generally worked out who they are and where they fit in to the grand scheme of things. Well, more so that a boy would have. Older men know how to treat a woman (normally), and are polite, and curteous, and gentlemanly. Older men usually have much better bodies.
These are some of the reasons I go for older guys. Obviously, all of these are generalisations, and in most cases I am saying 'more so than boys would..' not that boys do not have some or all of these qualities, just men dot hem better, are more refined at them.

But I think the reason most guys go for younger women is because of that generalistation where most men fall for what they see, and women for older men because most women fall for what they hear, and older men have practice in the talk! And maturity on their side

I wasn't passing comment on boys and their hormones It was more of an eostrogen as an attractant comment, as females lose their eostrogen they are biologically "over the hill" and less attractive because of the inability for constructive mating in general biological terms this has ben found to be true for all mammals, most males can sense when a female is in heat because of the release of pheromones and this makes her more sexual attractive at a base level....

Oh, the head fuckery. How many times has it happened, and how many times will it happen again? From what I've seen, it does appear that younger women are more inclined to believe a whole lot of BS from older males. Which is sad. When I see that sort of thing going on, it kinda hurts to watch it. Sometimes you just know that she's in love with an ideal versus what is really going on. Everyone pretty much just wants to be loved. And sometimes that desire overrides any semblance of common sense. And how very sad that some would prey upon this inherent human characteristic. I know a lot of folks too that say things like they got married or are dating someone because of their looks. One in particular comes to mind... doesn't matter about actual compatibility/love in his case, just that she has a "nice rack." Or whatever. I guess I think that's messed up.

Posted - 07/07/2004 : 09:45:27 Well, men spurt out their crackerspawn baby making juice in full working order forever and at a certain age we lady folk stop leaking scrambled eggs which allegedly has an effect on our sex drives. And attractiveness, hormonal induced rutting. Appartantly
The women I work with (when they aren't talking about how many stitches they need after childbirth - EUK) Tell me they hit their sexual peak in their forties and untill then sex was crap, but I am not overly sure I believe this.
And why are all these older men and women hunting for toy-fuckery anyway? I'm kind of hoping that when I hit 40 I'll be settled with a perma-fuck (or partner to use politer terms) and not have to lure away little boys.. But even if I'm not I'm not sure toy-fuckery is the way forward

Ouch. Look at girls my age. Seriously, they're fucking repulsive. There's a reason I don't have many friends my own age and why I'd never date someone my age. Hell, I'm the youngest person in my class (of 2006)..so they're all 16 or 17..that's not much younger than you and they're disgustingly immature. I think it would be safe to say "smart girls mature faster than normal guys"...but "girls mature faster than guys"..I'm not sure about that.

Posted - 07/07/2004 : 08:04:17 OK, right, where to start!?
Malax - I can see your point, and I know where you are coming from. However, as it has been mentioned here, a lot of guys dont go out with women their own age because women their own age are either a) married or b) psycopaths.
I am not in the slightest denying that older guys often think ' fucking hell, shes 18 and wants to fuck me, cant wait to tell my mates'. Im not denying that in even in the most genuine guys it is often an arousing thought the fact that im 18. I know what guys are like. And I know what gets them going in that respect.
However, the fact is that I do not ACT like an 18 year old. Guys that are attracted to girls who actually ACT like little girls...thats when you have to start worrying. In fairness, a lot of the older guys ive been with havent known how old i am til a fair bit later on.
I agree that theres often underlying factors to guys who will consiously TARGET younger girls, and often some mentla problems that need straightening out. but, these problems are often not half as troublesom as an 18 yr olds biys problems.
Girls mature faster than guys - it makes sense. Guys at 28+ are generally on my wavelength. The age I generally go for is 27 - 35. Sometimes swaying a little either side of that. I am staying away from 29/30 yr olds though, as they tend to be going a bit crazy themselves...sorta pre-mid life crisis. And are deliberatly going for younger girls to boost their egos. (trust me, this i have a wealth of experience in)
Just thought I'd throw that in there... |

I also think the thing about wanting sex to be the same as the first time is kind of crap (no offense, Mel) cause I think it is pretty much universal that the first time is never GREAT for a girl. Well, hardly ever.
Anyway, I wasn't thrilled by the first time, but I still ended up loving sex, so I don't know.
I guess I am not much help in the overall "debate". The first time setting the standard is not true for me though.

I too was blasted by females when I was between the ages of 18-20, but I do think it is largely because of men being completely wet at that time and not able to tear themselves away from from their boyhood pursuits. In fact alot of my work colleagues are still deeply in their boyhood pursuits @ 27, which I would think would be a major turn-off for women at any age. |
