Posted - 03/03/2004 : 11:30:31 Benji, America OnLine sends out millions of discs of their software to everyone here in the states, I get at least 1 a month. As Floop points out, they usually come in a metal box. The resources needlessly wasted to produce and distribute these is mind-boggling...

Posted - 03/02/2004 : 18:26:50 cd's are surprisingly durable. They can sometimes play with huge scratches, (purposefully gouged out) or even cracked. You can immerse them in water, too. Much more durable than tapes. |
