fozzie bear... haha, brings back memories, there used to be a guy who hung around with us at high school, he was called something foster (i've protected his first name you see), so he got called fozzie bear... he didn't like it much, obviously.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he didn't have one. I was thinking of Big Bird. Sorry.

Nathan, I'll put my ignorance to good use and add another post to my count to ask you:

what drug problem did Fozzie Bear have?

Because, GoddessTheory, it seemed (to me) as though you suggested that you have done it more than once by saying, "And the cold steel barrel of a gun starts to taste better than any kiss you've ever recieved."

The word "starts" suggests (to me) that it never used to taste better before, but now it is beginning to . But I can see that is obviously not how you intended it to come across.

Must say though, that it was a bit of a cheesy line!!! Sounds like a line from a really bad film!!!

You're right! It's not a HABIT! It's a serious addiction! I keep TRYING to quit, but I can't, even with help from cold steel barrel gum and patches.

Yeah. But sometimes life is too.

Sometimes you think things are moving along swimmingly and then you get sucked into a whirlpool.

Sometimes you think that someone tattooed "Kick my ass as hard as possible" on your back and backless shirts are in style.

Sometimes the places you go and the things you liked to do all turn out to be worthless and the cold steel barrel of a gun starts to taste better than any kiss you've ever recieved.

Sometimes life is anticlimactic.

Do you make a habbit of tasting cold steel barrels???

make it a habit? What do you mean? Why would that be a habit?

Sorry old-timers, I know this is a repeat :)

Jedi Rollers are, or were, an obscure rock/hip hop South African band, from Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape. I had the pleasure of meeting frontman Hagen Engler a few times - he was a friend of a friend. Nice guy - lekker oke, if you prefer :-)

So I thought I'd steal his band's name. It's an homage, really.

No. Big Brother's visage belongs to a little-known character actor by the name of Bob Flag. Kind of anticlimactic, isn't it?

So that was RICHARD BURTON as "the face"?

I just posted it because I thought it was shocking to see that face staring at you after clicking on the post.

Sorry about the rant then. How many times have people posted a complaint about being censored in some way? So I just figured your pic of BB was just such a post.

Incidentally, the film "1984" was Richard Burton's very last picture. Cyril Cusack also has a terrific supporting role. It won Best Picture and Best Actor (John Hurt) at the Evening Standard British Film Awards in 1985. So if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor!

"Mike Hammer."

Sorry to be so ignorant, GD, but is the picture you posted from "1984"? Or did I miss the point entirely?

What happened? Was there another moderator-editing incident? If there was none and Goddess is just being funny (good pic from a good movie btw), then please forgive my upcoming rant.
