Last night i had a dream that i went to see the Pixies and they were really shit, however thats not the important part.
I found myself sittinmg next to Angelina Jolie and we were so bored with the show that we stared getting it on, in front of everyone!
Now i'm not actually a lesbian so i'm wondering what this dream means, (apart from i have great taste in women). Not that i've got anything against lesbians, i've just never tried, although having said that if Angelia Jolie was offering herself it would be rude not to right?
Have any of you guys ever had gay dreams? Maybe men are less likely to, as on the whole they seem to be less open than women to homosexuality.
Anyway do you lot have any thoughts on the subject? Any dream experts out there? |

I always took 'wet dream' to be the ejaculatory type of thing and the female version the plain old orgasm in the sleep thing, I have had many and not always is the dream about sex

Yeah, I was under the impression that men often ejaculated in their sleep when dreaming about sex. I would not know seeings how I have never had a dream where I had sex. It just does not happen in my dreams. It was really frustrating when I was younger and all my friends were telling about having sex in their dreams and how real it felt and I just could not dream about sex, hard as I tried to think about nothing but it before going to sleep, which is not hard when you are 12 years old... or 24.

Well, too much information in a seventh-grade health class way, which is where I reluctantly learned of the phenomenon whereby guys have wet dreams (ejaculate in their sleep).

there is a difference between having a sexual dream (which is what I thought a 'wet dream' broadly referred to) and having a WET dream.
The latter is far far more rare...like I said, I can only remember two or so occassions where I woke up and was like "ho-ly CRAP, did I actually DO that??" For the record, the deed in the dream always seems to be feeling really good, like, unusually good. Which probably explains the whole chain of events.

This is weird 'cos last night I had a dream that I was cuddling Pete Doherty (the smackhead lead singer of The Libertines) and that I gave him a kiss (on the cheeck). Seems odd that this should happen after this topic has been reborn. Coincidence?
I am going to see his other band, Babyshambles on Thursday so that will have something to do with it no doubt.

I don't think that dreams indicate your sexuality-- I think that Newo and Kathryn are right, that it has to do with your subconcious.
Sometimes you will figure out what they mean and sometimes you won't...
Anyway I have had two dreams that I remember... where I was kissing a woman. It to me meant that I need to get more in touch with my feminine side...I don't remember any others. I have had other weird or not so weird sex dreams here and there and I just think that is part of being human. I think it's also safe to exlpore certain feelings that in real life would be hurtful, shameful, weird or unacceptable One of them was actually enjoying watching my best friend and husband doing it-- I just see that as a sign that I am glad she and my husband get along in a platonic way.
Dreams are strange and sometimes you just can't explain them. It's not worth feeing worried or guilty about.

that the previous night I'd had the hottest dream about him,

I don't remember having a gay dream, but it doesn't mean I never had them. But I remember some really disturbing dreams with my sister when I was a teenager. It was horrible. I mean, I enjoyed them a lot, but it was horrible when I woke up. I couldn't look at her for two days. It was, like... she knew it! Do you know what I mean?

I had a 'sort of' gay dream once. I was making out with this beautiful blonde girl - completely nude, long, smooth, shaven...I was all set to take the plunge...and then she turned into this old dude I work with - fully clothed. I was like "Uhh, what are YOU doing here?"...then I woke up.

I'm really ashamed being such a stupid fan: This week end I dreamt I had forgotten to buy tickets for FB & the C's the 11/15/2004 and for the Pixies the 11/12/2004!! I woke up wondering if I should check the internet or if it was just a dream. I was really anxious.
It has some explanation: I searched for days for honeycomb on soulseek, and buy all the tickets for October and november gigs at the same time.
(back to topic)I wish I had lesbian dreams instead.

do dreams mean anything at all? some days ago i was dreaming that i was in a concert on the titanic. i had a vip ticket on the bridge but at some point the pope arrived and we started to fight because he claimed that my seat was his. we were still fighting when this beautiful chinese girl arrived to divide us but then the ship started to sink and i woke up. what does it mean?
i never had any gay dreams but my girlfriend had one the other day and for what i know she's completely straight (at least i hope so). i believe that women are more open to this kind of stuff. and it's true that women are more intimate with their same sex friends, i would never go naked in my house with my flatmates around as my gf does. i'm not afraid to be called gay, it just seems weird and it makes me uncomfortable.

i dreamt about a shark trying to eat me last night. i couldn't get back to sleep either, i kept on imagining it next to my bed, so if i turned over it would be there, staring me in the face. then i thought that's stupid, it wasn't wet enough in the bedroom for a shark to be living there. then i thought it'd more likely be some scary dude out to kill me with a large knife, wearing a mask like the one in the scream films, then i *really* couldn't get back to sleep and couldn't turn over, and i really wanted to turn over as i couldn't sleep on that side.
