Posted - 09/24/2007 : 14:29:46 After a long hiatus of not drinking - and also the most boring, miserable year of my life - I am once again indulging.
Been skating in a scorching hot skate park almost every day and there is nothing better than a couple of tacos (or some thai) and a cold one. Been keeping it light though.
What was the last beer you drank?
Stay on topic. I don't care about martini's and shit, I only care to hear about beer.
As a beer snob I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I've been slumming.

i have some friends who have taken the tour of the brewery in Petaluma. supposed to be a good time.

Posted - 10/30/2007 : 20:02:04 I'm in the midst of a six pack of Lagunitas IPA. Pretty Tasty stuff. Not super hoppy, almost more of an APA than IPA maybe?
Either way I'd definitely pick up some more again. By the way. Ratebeer.com is becoming one of my more visited web sites as of late. Anybody interested in that sort of thing should check it out.

Another fine Colorado export. Great Divide is a couple blocks from one of my favorite places in the world: Coors Field.

Not my last beer, but I had a bottle of this recently, found it a bit too strong tasting. I can't seem to quit Heineken as my beer of choice. Must break out of my comfort zone! ;) |
The King Of Karaoke |
Posted - 10/15/2007 : 09:40:37 After six weeks of drinking at will, I quit the other day. I seemed to be putting on weight and I was kind of looking tired. Not sure why, I was drinking coors light. Maybe I should have kept it under ten to twelve of them at a time.

Posted - 10/15/2007 : 08:27:10 Yes it's a beer! a belgian one.
The one that I prefer of this kind is the one on the picture, which is brown ale (there's also a lager one, but less original and tasty IMO). The taste and the colour is winey. Lots of flavours in mouth. Kinda bitter and acid.
A bit strong but very refreshing.

Golden Monkey by Victory Brewing Company, an excellent golden style Belgian style ale.
Old Horizontal by Victory Brewing Company, an alright Barley Wine Style ale.
Monster Ale by Brooklyn Brewing Company, an insanely great Barely Wine Style ale. |
