Best game ever, from catbirdseat.org. Rules: "Print this out and take it to the next show you go to. When you get a bingo, scream "BINGO!" at the top of your lungs, then break a bunch of beer bottles on the floor and get thrown out."

Apart from maybe the hoodie, which is too warn to wear to gigs, I don't think I have many of these traits. Tre, for example, has at least three.

Or 86 years young, for that matter.

Not if you're 86 years old.

I have some Chuck Taylors, but since they're green, I don't know if they can count as "old-school." If I'm not mistaken, they only came in a few colors back in the day. And I have a blog, but no digital camera. So I guess that's one for me. I don't think we have hipsters in my area, though. They're more of a city thing, no?

And I think "classier cigarettes" belongs in the "favorite oxymoron" thread.

I hate hipsters.

I hate it when you go to a gig or club and everyone looks like these twats. They all look at you like 'youre sooooo not ironic enough to be in here'. F**k off.

I certainly prefer sitting at certain shows.

I'm so old.

Well, when I was in college I had between 8-9 items (smoked Parliament on rare occassions because I just liked the name). Also fancied those cocktail cigarettes from the import shop that came in all sorts of colors with a gold foil filter cover.

Now...only item I have is a too-small sweater and that isn't by choice....got accidentally put in the wash and as soon as I send it to Goodwill I won't even have that. On top of that...I have noticed that I am starting to sit down in shows more these days. yep....those hipster days are over for me.

What if I get a rub-on tattoo of a star, and a fake mustache. What does that put me at?

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?
floop Posted - 07/14/2006 : 12:36:57
i like the tattoo with the star thing. that's so funny. if i had a dollar for every star tattoo person i see...

no offense to people with star tattoos

I'm uber-hot but not asian, and I have a mustache but not ironically. So, 0.

I pretty much always wear a hoodie, and I prefer the term "moptop".

Don't try to deflect attention you star-tattooed chunky-glasses-wearing hipster!

All the hipsters do now Darwin, you'd be shocked. At shows, the PBR cans are a-flyin' off the bar. I have friends who exclusively drink it.

Most shows I don't think you could get past the door without a Bingo. That left hand column is a given. What kind of hipster drinks Pabst?

And, I'm a 0 unless I'm a Grandpa (but I'm a slacker more than a hipster).

I fear a Jagger haircut is growing, but only because I can't afford a proper haircut. I think I've got some small jumpers too. Damn tumble-dryer.

Broken Face Posted - 07/14/2006 : 06:40:11
I have a hoodie, red chuck taylors, blue pumas, i am a blogger and i own a digital camera, and i have more than one ironic t-shirt that could put me in the same class as the high school sports shirt. I'm only 6 feet tall though and shave my head and 'stache. Boo me.

Technically I think you tick all the boxes for bad clothes and dodgy hair... I'm guessing you're a blue ribbon kind of guy too Grandpa.

Im pretty pathetic. I only have the "too-small sweater". Although my step mum is definately an uber hot asian hipster. How my old man pulled her defies science as we know it.

Hey! Those are my reading glasses and it's only technically a star!

Do you qualify as an eight foot tall hoodie wearing blooger with ironic facial hair and a digital camera? What about your purse with the skull on it? And early in the morning funny sticky up hair, does that qualify as a white man afro?
Cheeseman1000 Posted - 07/14/2006 : 03:39:18
Star tattoo and chunky glasses. Wow, five! I'm getting close!

I'm five foot tall, my hair is better than Jaggers and I smoke a far classier brand of cigarettes. I'm assuming this is what you're meaning here....

You know what? next time you're sick you can buy your own lucozade.
