Check out this link:

What do people think about it?
Stiller instead of Murray?
Or should they never make a third Ghostbusters?

I wonder if this has anything to do with the game zootfly was making, but since last week has been more or less cancelled. I'll try and find a video or some screens of it if i can.

Check it:http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/15/seriously-impressive-ghostbusters-game-in-the-works/

Okay, those videos from youtube were taken down. I saw the one at the top. and it looked very impressive. They were taken down because zootfly didn’t have any official rights to use the ghostbuster franchise

The number of Parents who could sue Play-Doh for destroying the couch would probably put the company out of business.

Don't you love toys that are essentially just colored slime that gets all over everything? I remember when Nickelodeon sold a bunch of those.

Yeah, I bought the tubs of ecto-plasm too, pixiestu. I hope to God my kids never want anything like that; I can recall it leaving stains on the carpet and my parents hated it.

The Ghostbusters' Theme could have been a punk rock classic if it had been put in the right mind.
glacial906 Posted - 05/30/2006 : 10:31:18
I can recall watching it occasionally, but I far preferred the movie-inspired cartoon version of the Ghostbusters. In fact, I probably spent about $200 (of my family's money) on the toys and accessories when it was popular. (I too was about 7 or 8 back then.) I had the proton pack, the ghost trap, and close to all the action figures and related toys.

Yeah, the cartoon of the film was called The Real Ghostbusters!

I personally wouldn't want there to be a "new" Ghostbusters team; they would have to reunite the entire cast to successfully do a third film. I could concievably see a third film about them as older guys, maybe Peter and Dana Barrett have gotten married and have a kid, etc., but I would never in a million years want them to attach the label "Ghostbuster" to Freddie Prince Jr. wearing a proton pack.

Too bad they won't make the sequel starring these guys:

Ha! That bizarre Ghostbusters was actually how I was introduced to the whole idea of bustin' ghosts. I used to watch the cartoon when I was a wee lad, back in 1987 or so.

It was based on a live-action show called The Ghost Busters that ran in the 70's. So... those two dudes and the ape are the Original Ghostbusters!

Jake, Eddie and Tracey realize Prime Evil's plan and jump into a Skeleton Elevator at Ghost Command that throws them around and pulls them along conveyer belts, culminating in them getting suited up in their Ghostbusters outfits and being dropped into Ghost Buggy

I'm watching Ghostbusters 2 right now.

Bill Murray has some great lines!

I think Bill Murray might do it it he had'nt spent almost the last decade having a very successful time doing comedy dramas.

Man, some lazy relative got me some of those books for my birthday when I were a nipper! I was so distraught.

I vote NO on GB3. Terrible idea, I wish people would stop pissing on good films by bringing out questionable sequels years after the fact.. Blues Brothers 2000, Terminator 3.. And I have a sneaking suspicion that Clerks 2 will be less than good as well.

And..BEN STILLER? Wtf. The chump isn't fit to polish Venkman's proton accellerator (ooh err missus), let alone play the legend.

Yeah, when I saw Ramis in "What About Bob?" I was pretty shocked. (that was '94 or so?)

Wonder if Ramis and Ackroyd's weight would figure in? You'd think that two decades of ghostbustin' would keep you fairly fit.

I liked Harold Ramis in the Ghostbuster movies, and ( though I didn't see the whole movie ) "Stripes".

The first time I saw "Orange County" I saw his name in the closing credits, and didn't realize till I saw it again that he played the guy that accidently takes the Ecstacy- it was weird seeing him so old ( plus all the weight he put on ).

As others have said, unless it's the same main cast, I think they should leave it.
