Posted - 04/22/2006 : 14:31:12 Since we have an vast french community here at FB.net, I was wondering if you guys could help me...
I've tried to improve my french speaking and writing skills, on and off for a couple of years. I'm still very poor when it comes to things like vocabulary, verbs and basic, general french language dealings.
I've tried to listen to french radio broacasts, but I can't understand half of what's being said. I don't believe anyone else can either, everyone talks so fast that I just write it off as mad french pirate jibberish.
I was thinking that forcing myself to read french forums is a great idea to improve myself on this aspect, and I was thinking if there are any forums on the internet that the french-speaking community recomends or that you like to read? Forums about music, films, politics, etc.
Suggestions anyone? |

Posted - 04/22/2006 : 15:03:50 I'm sorry, I really don't think Internet forums could be recommended as a way to improve your vocabulary. Don't you have access to books in French? Even magazines?
