Posted - 01/16/2007 : 11:33:45 There's no such thing as the Easter Bunny. It's a figment of people's imagination. I think it's cute and all how Christian parents put chocolates and whatnot in a basket and leave them for their children on Easter morning, but there's just no such thing as the Easter Bunny. The huge rabbit pictured above is actually the Tooth Fairy. Duh.
And aren't you havin' fun? |

To me rabbits are grown up bunnies. Since I've seen those pics I am dying to get one. I think 115 lbs would be too much maybe 30 or 50. But I to like the idea of a little family of bunnies running around.
I want to be able to lift it without throwing my back out.
I know you can train them so they can hang out in your house (even potty train them) but they go through tons of lettuce. |

Cool with me as long as they grow them big enough that I can ride one to work. <boing> We're there!

There's a Young Fresh Fellows song that mentions "The Killer Shrews." I can't say I've ever seen it.

Oh and Johnny Yen, have you seen that giant bunny film? it looks fantastic! There is also one about killer shrews (but they've just stuck big mouse ears on dogs, its brilliant) |

Posted - 02/12/2006 : 18:08:26 whilst i and neil arent adverse to carrots, it appears giant bunnies dont only rely on these:
quote: Maintaining a healthy diet is very important, as once over weight problems with dirty bottoms, joints and hearts become more of a problem than in a smaller bunny. The diet should be the same as smaller bunnies, but the addition of a vitamin supplement may be advisable to help ward off joint problems later. The hay is the main thing, and a diet rich in calcium. You should aim to feed a pile of hay at least equivalent to the body size of the rabbit twice daily. The chewing action of long hay (not the sort available in plastic bags in pet shops) is essential for healthy teeth. A complete pellet food and not a "complimentary" food should be given to provide a full balanced diet, along with vegetables, 'greens' and ReadiGrass. Spillers ReadiGrass is good for the larger breeds diet as it has high protein content and helps reduce the rabbit size health problems later on.
